Open a checking account with American National Bank of Minnesota and add a debit card that can be used nationwide at any ATM or wherever Mastercard ® is accepted. With a debit card, purchases are conveniently deducted directly from your checking account.

Charged an ATM Fee?

If you use your American National Bank of Minnesota Debit Card at an ATM and are charged a surcharge fee from the ATM terminal, we will reimburse you!  Bring in your receipt or call your local branch to review your statement within 60 days of the transaction, and the surcharge fee will be promptly refunded to you.

PIN Number

At the time debit card activation, you may set your PIN or can be changed at any time by calling Mastercard at 800-992-3808.

Debit Card being denied at a merchant?

There may be several reasons your card is being denied.  For security reasons, please Contact Us to reach one of our branch representatives or visit a local branch to review your transaction history.

Fraud Department

We have 24-hour monitoring with our first alert fraud services to ensure your protection.  Our fraud department will call at the time a transaction is in question and if elected, also send a text message to your mobile device.

Need a new debit card?

Visit a local branch to have your personal debit card reprinted with our Instant Issue services.  Business customers may order a new debit card and will be conveniently shipped to your place of business.
